Ahhh! It feels so good to have my fingers on the keyboard without having to worry about anything school-related. Sad that it won't last for long. Anyway, what's up guys?! Lately, a lot of you have been asking why I left the blogosphere 1) I didn't and have no plans of leaving 2) I'm still working on my multi-tasking skills 3) We have really bad internet connection. Although I don't update as much as I do before, I am still thankful for those who continuously support my blog. I'll try to be more consistent on 2015 and to give you quality entertaining blog posts. I have so many things to tell you but I'll save it for my "Year-End Post" tomorrow. For now, seat back and enjoy the pictures we took from Breathtaking Batangas.
The other day, my family and I went on a spontaneous trip to Lobo, Batangas. We were supposed to go to Baguio but since the traffic was unbearable we decided to ditch the North and head to the South instead. After all, why go with the mainstream when we can partake in a new adventure?
It may not be one of the most impressive beaches in the Philippines but it does have the best sunset view - fiery orange, searing reds, hot as the sun yellow with a hint of indigo of the night. Two words? PURE HEAVEN. We arrived in our first stop at around 5 in the afternoon just in time to witness this breathtaking scenery.
The next day, we took a 30-minute drive to Malabrigo Point Lighthouse
If the sun weren't directly hitting us we could have stayed there for a while!

Loving every bit of this pebble-y beach and I can't wait to come back and probably collect more heart-shaped stones. Hahaha! #notinlove

I had a serious writer's block this past few months and it was the worst. To make matters even worse, I was supposed to post this look last month and it was only tonight that I had the urge to finally publish it. This is just crazy. Anyway, enough of the serious stuff and let's go on with my outfit.
For today's look (I mean tonight), I decided try the black-on-black ensemble, something I haven't done in a while. The first time I saw this high-waist pants in Stradivarius (Glorietta Branch) I was immediately captivated and never hesitated on buying it. In fact, I already have a number of clothes ready to match it with. I'm just saying, you'll see more of this trendy pants in my future posts *wink*
Since my look is already leaning on the business-casual category, I wore this faux leather jacket also from Stradivarius to give it a little twist. To finish it off, I paired it with this flesh-colored ankle strap heels and classy bag. What do you think of the combination?

It feels incredible to be out of the country, putting all the college stress away for a while. Hong Kong is my dream destination, I have always been so fascinated by this country and when I had the chance to go there I made sure to enjoy every bit of it. I didn't like the fact that I only had 4 days to roam around the city but there is nothing I could do so I just maximized my stay. Following an itinerary is not my thing, as much as possible when I go to other places it's spontaneous. I'm not really fond of following strict schedules or going to travel agencies and look up for tour guides. I would rather get lost, talk to strangers and just be anonymous in a city I have never been before because those type of memories never fade easily.
For my simple #ootd, I wore an Aztec dress I bought in Mongkok for 40 HK dollars and added a DIY cover-up to give a bohemian touch to my outfit. I don't want to go over-the-top with this look so I decided to stick with the neutrals. The sunnies I'm wearing here is originally my Mom's (as usual) but since it looked good on me, it is already mine. Sorry, Mom :p
