Hi everyone! As promised, I'm going to talk about my trip to Calaguas Island. The night before my parents told us that we're going to the beach, I wasn't so excited since I knew its going to be another loooong boring trip. With a total of 8 hours including the 2 hours boat ride to the island, imagine how exhausting that is. But... the moment I saw the white sand, the clear blue sky and the cool sea breeze, everything suddenly changed!

It feels good to be back after so long from being away from my blogging duties. If you're asking where I was for 4 days, well, my family and I went to this amazing unspoiled island in Camarines Norte. I'll be sharing more in my next post. Can't wait! 

Paisley prints are everywhere and its making a big comeback! I remember when I was younger and I used to make fun of my mom whenever she wears her paisley printed dresses,  I found it baduy then (You know, kids...) But as I learned more about fashion, I realized they are not as baduy as I thought it was then.  

To familiarize you more with paisley prints, it is an easily recognized pattern that resembles a crooked tear drop or half of a yin-yang. A very popular print on all sorts of clothing and fashion accessories during the 1960s. Though the recognizable paisley print pattern was originally crafted by Indian artisans, it was brought to Scotland in the early 19th century, where it received its name. The print was named after the Scottish town of Paisley, where printed cotton and wool fabrics were heavily manufactured. Paisley print saw its first acclaimed popularity in the 1960s. - Wise Geek

I am really grateful to be part of the hottest 12-hour non-stop musical festival this summer - the Close Up Summer Solstice! all thanks to Marj Sia for giving me and my bestfriend Nicole VIP tickets to the party. (Talk about being lucky)  Anyway, we got there around 10 pm and from outside I could already hear people scream and go wild! It was really nice seeing everyone in their best hippie outfits and what's more hilarious and surprising was that as early as 10 pm there were guys who are already in their boxer shorts! WOAH imagine the party ends at 4 am.. Hmmm.. 

The best hippie outfit I could think of in less than 30 minutes! Tell me what you think, yeah? x
