Well, I may not have completely found myself as of yet, but there’s one thing I have proudly discovered and that is the perfect wrist watch for me! (That’s good enough for now). My family and friends know that I’m never a fan of wearing anything on my wrist specially watches. In the same way some women feel uncomfortable wearing a bright shade of lipstick, I feel particularly uneasy wearing accessories. It also doesn’t help that I have nickel or metal allergies. However, just when I thought wearing watches was hopeless for me I found Wood Watches by JORD, the finest luxury all-natural wooden watch ever created!

Overall, I appreciate products that are made of natural materials (green technology) so I never hesitated to try out this non-traditional wooden watch. JORD is definitely on the high-end but considering it’s hand-crafted that makes it reasonably priced. It's true, choosing a watch can be very challenging but with JORD wooden watches you stand apart from the rest. With that, I can say JORD wooden watches can definitely top off any of our #OOTD!

During High School, I was never the type to read books. I'd rather do outdoor activities than sit in complete silence and stare at the words. However, when I entered college, things have changed and I can barely stand to put a book down. I have grown fond of reading books that during my term break last August, I was able to finish 3 books in a span of 7 days. I love how reading completely takes my mind away from reality, at least for a short while, and to places and things I may have only imagined.

Ultimately, the thing about reading is that it gives you new information, it lets your imagination run wild and it makes you more creative. In fact, I've got the inspiration for this blog post from one of the books I've read during term break, called A Walk in the Park by Jill Mansell. It's a book about love, life and everything in between - pretty much something a girl like me would definitely enjoy reading. Anyway, relating it to my outfit for the day, I opted for a casual look that best represents Gigi, one of my favorite characters in the book. She's your typical school girl who can be sweet and downright frank at the same time. To pull off the "school girl" look I wore this red button-front skirt from Cherry's Closet and matched it with this off-the-shoulder top from Genevieve Gozum. Off-the-shoulder tops, as well as, button-front skirts have been popular on and off throughout fashion history. These are one of the stylish pieces that prove fashion is indeed revolving. To conclude today's casual look, I wore this ever fashionable and never going out of style Converse All Star shoes.

It's a little early to tell, but we do know that Flared Jeans or popularly known as the "Bell Bottoms" in the 70's are back and better than ever (hopefully)! I'm glad my Mom was able to save a couple of this type of jeans in her closet since they're impossible to find in stores for now. Ever since Skinny Jeans entered the fashion scene, a lot of people have decided to ditch the Flare Trend for good and because of that, clearly not everyone is happy about it's comeback. For starters, Flared Jeans have always been an iffy trend to try. If you think pairing tops is hard, well… try styling shoes with these jeans??? But just like the other complicated pieces in our closet, its all about your willingness to take fashions risks. If you think you're too short for Flared Jeans, try pairing it with pumps and cropped top... Exactly like how I did it! I wanted to pull off the Boho Chic look so instead of wearing heels, I matched it with brown boots from Zara. Then to top it all off, I wore this lovely headpiece from Summer Soul Gypsy! Definitely the perfect accessory for music festivals or even just when you feel like adding a little Hippie vibe to your look. Ultimately, there are abundant things you can do with Flared Jeans, just give it a go and remember; reliving the past is not all that bad. Scavenge through your closet for an old piece to give it new life!

I've been a single pringle since God knows when and honestly, it's not really a problem. I've been asked out by guys quite a few times but I keep making up excuses for why I can't go out with them. For some reason, the thought of having another person being emotionally close to me scares me. When my friends ask me why I'm still single I keep telling them that the guys who are interested in me are "not my type" or #hindiakocrushngcrushko but deep down perhaps I'm just making excuses. I'm scared of falling in love because I know if I do it will eventually turn out wrong and I'll end up getting hurt. But then I realized everyone has been there, and with every relationship we go through and every break-up we endure, we are also learning about ourselves through the relationship. It's crazy though because if I just came from a fresh break-up, I wouldn't have the courage to say all this. Instead, I'm going to be a bitter person and talk about how love doesn't exist *cue in hashtag walang forever*
